Silence is rarely golden!
After a great deal of soul searching, we have decided that due to too many issues beyond our control we are letting the sun set on the GDSS Music Festival.
We have had three great years of bringing local music talent to the people of Great Dunmow.
All the GDSS committee wish to thank our performers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters and most of all you, the public, for making the event such a success.
If anyone is interested in picking up a great product and running with it- please make contact with us.
Our social media sites and website will remain open until October 2025.

We decided after GDSS 2023 not to interfere with the Dunmow Flitch Trials 2024 and so the next GDSS event was always going to be in 2025. However, the uncertainty surrounding the construction of the Dunmow MUGA being built at the Recreation Ground has forced us to have a rethink.
So without further ado we are very pleased to announce the next GDSS Music Festival will be on Saturday 20th June 2026!! Whilst we are disappointed not to be able to stage the event in 2025, we are looking forward to staging a bigger and even better event in 2026!

Thanks for all your feedback – it sounds like a good time was had by all at the GDSS 2023 Music Festival.
After careful consideration, we have decided that the next Music Festival will be in 2025 on Saturday 21st June!
So next year, Great Dunmow can focus on the Flitch Trials, and the GDSS team can work hard on producing an even bigger and better event. We want even more people to enjoy the music!
