The Bird Show - cancelled

We're very sorry to say that the recently added restrictions sadly mean that the postponed The Bird Show, which was pencilled in for 16th October, and accompanying workshops have now been cancelled.

Pound Arts (who run Rural Arts) will be in touch with ticket holders to issue refunds. If you wish to make a donation to their Pound Arts Comeback Fund, it will be greatly appreciated.

We will move our focus to 2021 and hope to bring you more exciting events next year. Onwards and upwards!

The Bird Show to be rescheduled

The impact of COVID-19 on our communities is critical and we want to ensure that we do all we can to keep people safe.

Following the latest Government advice, Pound Arts (which runs Rural Arts) has suspended all performances and workshops with immediate effect. We are really sorry to have to announce that The Bird Show will not be on this week. Ticket holders who have booked through the online box office will be contacted by Pound Arts as soon as possible. Pound Arts is a registered charity and have asked for our support during this very difficult time by not requesting an immediate refund. We will do our very best to negotiate a new date with the performers and as soon as the new date has been confirmed Pound Arts will transfer the tickets to the new date. If we are not able to reschedule or if you are not able to come to the rescheduled performance they will, of course, offer refunds. If you have bought tickets in the Post Office, could you please get in touch with us directly?

Rural Arts are determined to be here when this epidemic is not.

Not a Rural Arts event, but on today just outside our village, this looks like it will be a lot of fun.

Tickets may be purchased on arrival. Children under 16 and Kennet and Avon Canal Trust members free. Concesssions apply to Students and 60+. Special events priced separately.
