If you ever wanted to see teamwork, community, and our dance family ethos in action, you should have been at the studio tonight!
Our dancers were busy preparing for their demonstrations on Saturday night, while parents laughed, chatted, and rolled up their sleeves to help get everything organised.
There was total creative chaos everywhere — a conveyor belt of people cutting, sticking, gemming, checking, and creating all the displays ready for our Awards Evening. ✨
Dean kept everyone fuelled with food and drinks, the younger children ran around full of excitement, and there was so much laughter throughout the evening.
It was busy, noisy, chaotic… and absolutely perfect. ❤️
Most importantly, the jobs got done, and we couldn’t have done it without every single person who gave up their time to help.
Thank you to our amazing dance family for always showing what being part of this school is all about.
Now bring on Saturday! 🌟🏆

✨ We’re officially in the magical era of celebrating 15 years of GDA! ✨

Happy birthday to us! 🎉

Our entrance display board has had a little sprinkle of magical glitz to match the mood, and this is just the beginning. There are plenty more exciting surprises and celebrations still to come as we mark this special milestone year.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all on Saturday and make even more magical memories together! 💜✨

As we celebrate 15 incredible years of GDA, we can’t help but shed a happy tear.

Looking back at everything we have achieved together fills us with immense pride. There have certainly been times when it would have been easier to follow someone else’s lesson plans, let someone else organise the events, or simply take the easier path.

Instead, we chose to build something of our own.

For 15 years, our teachers have poured their hearts and souls into every class, every performance, every competition, and every student. That dedication has led to outstanding examination results, many carrying valuable UCAS tariff points, exceptional competition successes at local, national and international level, and unique opportunities for our dancers across the UK and even at Disneyland Paris.

We’ve weathered challenges, including navigating a global pandemic, and through it all we’ve remained committed to creating more than just a dance school. We have built a family.

Today, GDA is proud to be independent, award-winning, respected, and recognised for excellence. But our greatest achievement will always be the dancers, families, teachers, and supporters who have been part of this journey.

To every student who has stepped into our studio, every parent who has trusted us, every teacher who has inspired, and every supporter who has cheered us on — thank you.

You have helped make GDA what it is today.

We cannot wait to celebrate with you at our special awards evening on Saturday 20th June!

✨ WOW – what a busy few days at GDA! ✨

Our studios have been bursting with energy, full classes, happy dancers, lots of hard work… and of course, plenty of laughter! 💃🕺

The children have been busy rehearsing for our Awards Evening next Saturday, while also working on a very special surprise for all our wonderful parents and supporters. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to the parents who joined us to help cut, stick, sort photographs and put the finishing touches on our display boards for next weekend. Looking back over 15 incredible years of GDA Dance has been such an emotional (in the best possible way!) experience. 🥹✨

Choosing which photos to include has been nearly impossible—we wanted to use every single one! But as we all know, Gemma takes hundreds of photos every day! 😂📸
