Wicked Productions return to The Woodville Theatre for their eighth sensational year with the fairy godmother of all pantomimes –Cinderella! Poor Cinderella dreams of escaping her chores and going to the Royal Ball… but with a wicked stepmother and two diva-licious stepsisters, and not a pumpkin in sight, will she ever get her fairy-tale ending? Sully are flying in as Fairy G and Furry G to work some tail-wagging magic! Gravesend favourite Rob Cummings returns alongside the side-splitting Jezo as the glamorously ghastly Siri and Alexa Hardup. Georgia Rowland Elliott is back for her fifth fabulous year as Cinderella, joined by audience favourite Byron Witchell as the lovable Buttons. And the brilliant Leanne Jones(West End star and local legend!) is ready to stir up trouble as the deliciously dreadful Wicked Stepmother. Packed with dazzling sets, show-stopping dance routines, and more laughs than you can shake a wand at – don’t miss this magical, musical extravaganza that promises festive fun for the whole family.

Calling all budding stars! We're on the lookout for talented young performers to join the youth ensemble for our 2026 Pantomime of Wizard of Oz 🌟

📅 Audition Date: Sunday 12th July
📍 Venue: The Woodville, Gravesend

If your child dreams of treading the boards in front of thousands this Christmas, now’s their chance! 🎭👯‍

This year’s auditions will be led by the brilliant Kerry Turner, she will teach a short dance routine on the day so no need to prepare anything.

🎒 What to wear: Plain dancewear only please – no dance school logos or previous panto hoodies. We want everyone to shine equally ✨

⚙️ HE’S BACK… AND HE’S TIN-CREDIBLE! ⚙️
We’re absolutely delighted to announce that the truly brilliant Byron Witchell is returning to Gravesend Panto for his third sensational year to play the iconic Tin Man in this year’s spectacular production of The Wizard of Oz! 🌈👠✨
Byron first wowed Woodville audiences as Jack Trott in Jack and the Beanstalk and had everyone roaring with laughter last Christmas as the lovable Buttons in Cinderella.

Now, he’s off to follow the Yellow Brick Road as the Tin Man — the man with a shiny suit, a rusty joint or two, and a heart of gold! ❤️🪓

Wicked Productions are thrilled to announce open casting for the iconic lead role of Dorothy Gale in our spectacular Christmas pantomime of The Wizard of Oz… and we’re on the hunt for a standout local talent to take centre stage!

✨ THE ROLE
Dorothy Gale – the heart and soul of Oz. Brave, kind, curious, and full of wonder. This is a leading role requiring a performer who can truly connect with audiences of all ages.

🎤 WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Playing age: 16–20
Strong acting ability with excellent storytelling skills
Confident Midwest American accent
Strong singer with great vocal ability
Moves well on stage (dance/movement essential)
Natural stage presence, warmth, and charisma
Open to performers of all ethnic backgrounds

📅 CONTRACT DETAILS
Rehearsals begin: 23rd November 2026
Performances: 4th December 2026 – 2nd January 2027
33-day professional paid contract - Fee to be discussed via email.

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Cinderella has been nominated for a Pantomime Award for Best Lighting! 🎭💡
A huge congratulations to the incredibly talented Harvey Ebbage, whose beautiful lighting design helped bring the magic of our production to life on stage. From sparkling ballrooms to enchanting transformations, the show looked truly stunning thanks to his fantastic work – and we couldn’t be prouder of this well-deserved nomination.
A big thank you to UK Pantomime Association for recognising the production with this nomination. It’s an honour to be included among so many wonderful shows from across the country.
Now it’s time to get our best outfits ready and celebrate an incredible night of pantomime! 🤞 Fingers crossed for the big win!
