We are now entering Virgo season, and somehow it feels especially magical to be sharing this one today because Virgo happens to be my sign too, and today is my birthday. So honestly, what better way to celebrate than by finally talking about the energy I have been carrying all my life? ♍✨

Virgo is often misunderstood as perfectionism, overthinking and wanting everything to be just right. But there is so much more beneath the surface. There is tenderness in the way Virgo notices things, love in the way they care, and something incredibly beautiful about the desire to make life a little better, a little softer and a little more meaningful.

Virgo energy reminds us that we do not need to create grand gestures to make an impact. Sometimes our greatest gifts live in the details. In showing up. In remembering. In noticing what others overlook. In quietly tending to the people, dreams and spaces we love.

And perhaps that is something I am especially grateful for today. Another year of life, another year of learning that perfection was never the goal. Becoming more myself was.

So here is to a new chapter, to growing with intention, creating with heart, noticing the magic in ordinary moments and remembering that there is beauty in becoming.

For years, I created everything from scratch. I learned, experimented, made mistakes, started again, and poured countless hours into every illustration, journal, calendar and commission.

Then motherhood changed the rhythm of my life.

I became a mother, then a mother of two, and chose to be fully present for them. I homeschool them, spend my days with them, and without a nursery or a support network, my time to create became very limited.

But motherhood never made the artist in me disappear.

The ideas were still there. The worlds, the feelings, the stories I wanted to turn into colour and image were still alive inside me.

Then I discovered AI.

For me, it became a tool that allowed me to explore those ideas in a way that fit into the life I have now.

But the vision is still mine.

I choose what I want to create, how I want it to feel, the colours, elements, symbolism and every little detail. I guide the process until the image begins to resemble what I see in my mind.

And it doesn’t end there. I continue editing, retouching, changing, refining and adding my own touches until it feels right.

Maybe one day I will return completely to drawing by hand. Maybe my process will change again.

For now, this is how I keep creating while being the mother I want to be.

The tools may change. The way I create may change.

But the heart behind my art never will. 🤍

We have now entered Leo season, and with it comes a beautiful invitation to remember who we truly are.

Leo is often associated with confidence, courage and radiance, but I believe its greatest lesson is something much quieter than that. It teaches us that our light was never meant to outshine anyone else’s. It was meant to illuminate the path we are uniquely here to walk.

There is something incredibly inspiring about a heart that is unafraid to create, to love wholeheartedly and to express itself without constantly seeking permission. That is the essence of Leo. Not perfection, not pride, but the courage to be fully seen as you are.

Perhaps this season is not asking us to become someone new. Perhaps it is gently encouraging us to remove everything that has convinced us to hide our gifts, silence our voice or dim our light. The world has enough copies. What it truly needs is the version of you that only you can bring.

Every life is shaped twice. First in the quiet sanctuary of our imagination, then through the choices we make each day. The future is rarely built by one extraordinary moment. It is created through countless small acts of courage, intention and faith, even when no one else can see them.

You carry within you a vision that has never existed before and never will again. It is uniquely yours. Don’t wait for permission, perfect conditions or certainty before you begin. Pick up the brush, make the first stroke, and trust that each choice made with love and purpose adds another beautiful detail to the masterpiece you are creating.

Yesterday marked the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, a beautiful reminder of light, growth and the cycles that shape our lives. And alongside this turning point in the wheel of the year, we have also entered Cancer season!

There is something fitting about these two moments arriving together. The Solstice invites us to honour the light around us, while Cancer gently invites us to honour the light within us.

Cancer is often associated with emotion, intuition and nurturing, but beneath its gentle exterior lies incredible strength. This is the sign that teaches us that softness is not weakness, that vulnerability can be a form of courage, and that some of the strongest people are the ones who continue to love deeply even after being hurt.

In a world that often celebrates constant productivity and movement, Cancer reminds us of the importance of home, connection, belonging and emotional truth. We are now entering Gemini season, and with it comes a completely different kind of energy. Lighter, faster, curious and full of movement. After the grounding stillness of Ta**us, Gemini arrives like a fresh wind through an open window, reminding us that life is meant to be explored, questioned and experienced from many different angles.

Gemini carries the energy of connection. Between people, ideas, emotions and worlds. It is the sign of curiosity, conversation, creativity and constant evolution. There is something beautifully alive about Gemini energy. It refuses to stay trapped in one version of itself for too long.

People often misunderstand this sign because they only see the movement. But beneath it is a deeply observant mind and a soul that is endlessly searching for meaning, inspiration and understanding. I am larger than my fear.

There are moments when fear feels louder than anything else, when it wraps around your thoughts and makes you question your strength, your path, even your worth. It can feel so convincing, so real, that stepping forward seems almost impossible. But fear is not a measure of your limits, it is only a reflection of the edge you are about to cross. There is something within you that is quieter, deeper, and far more powerful than any doubt that rises to the surface. Every time you choose to move despite the hesitation, every time you take one small step while your heart is uncertain, you expand beyond what once held you back. You begin to see that fear does not define you, it simply appears when you are growing. You are not here to stay within what feels safe. You are here to become. And with every courageous choice, no matter how small, you prove to yourself that you have always been larger than your fear.

After the fire of new beginnings, life gently invites us to slow down, to root ourselves, to feel rather than rush. Ta**us carries the energy of presence, of building something real and lasting, of finding beauty in what is simple and often overlooked.

There is a quiet strength in Ta**us. It is not loud or urgent, but steady, grounded and deeply connected to what truly matters. It reminds us that not everything needs to happen quickly to be meaningful. Some of the most beautiful things in life are the ones we take time to grow, nurture and protect.

This sign teaches us to honour our senses, to create spaces that feel like home, and to appreciate the small details that make life rich and full. It is about stability, but also about pleasure, softness and a deep connection with the present moment.

I’m starting a small series of affirmations because the words we repeat to ourselves quietly shape the way we see life, and over time they begin to shape the life we create. Our minds are constantly listening to the language we use within. The thoughts we return to again and again slowly become beliefs that influence our choices, our courage, and the way we move through the world. But affirmations are not meant to be repeated as empty words. Their power begins when we pause, breathe, and truly allow ourselves to feel what those words are inviting us to become. When the mind hears it and the heart begins to believe it, something within us gently starts to change.

I will not live smaller than the truth inside me.

Somewhere inside each of us there is a quiet vision of the life we are meant to live. Not the life shaped by fear, expectations, or the limits other people quietly place around us. But the life that our soul recognises the moment we imagine it. The one that feels vast, alive and full of meaning.

The truth is that it takes courage to honour that vision. It is often easier to shrink ourselves, to choose the safe path, to make our dreams smaller so they fit comfortably into the world around us. But something inside the heart always knows.

It knows when we are living beneath what we came here to be. It knows when we silence our voice, dim our light, or abandon the quiet calling that keeps returning again and again.

Refusing a small life does not mean chasing grand achievements or proving anything to anyone. It simply means choosing to listen to that inner knowing and allowing it to guide you. It means trusting that the vision placed in your soul was never there by accident.

You were not created to live within the limits of fear. You were created to expand, to explore, to create, and to become the fullest expression of who you truly are. And the moment you decide that you will no longer shrink yourself, something powerful begins to move within you. The universe recognises it. Just like the stars remembering their place in the sky. ✨
