I took some of my hoopers for a special hoop party at Soozi Kay's aerial studio in Kendal. I wanted to take our minds off the car show that had cancelled us for that day, and do something totally different and energising instead. It was a packed program with oodles of hooping and bucketfuls of laughter. And rather wonderfully (thank you, Caroline) there was cake! Huge thanks to Jon Read for the photos. I have not yet managed to spot him in the mirror...

OMG, we did Titanic! Congrats to Katy and Emma. Katy saw it in my little hoop book and wanted to try it. Never thought I'd be teaching this one. It's harder than it looks! ️🚢

Some sad news. I'm extremely sorry and disappointed to report that, at very short notice, Outoftheblue have been uninvited to the local classic car show, where my brave and talented hoopers have put on a fabulous hoop display for the last four years. It is not clear what the reason for our uninvitation is, but it may have something to do with a change of personnel among the organisers. We have been booked to do this year's car show since August last year, and their website has been announcing our participation for many months. They only removed our promotion on Saturday when I pointed this out to them. I am now looking for alternative outdoor opportunities for us, and I have plans for us to do something fun on the day we were meant to be doing the car show.
