Today's agenda included:

✅ Quality control of Costa Frappés
✅ Advanced card inspection procedures
✅ Determining whether bacon sandwiches improve magical ability
✅ Important discussions about absolutely everything except business

The chairperson seemed happy with my performance, so I think my contract has been renewed for another year.

🎩 Rock music, Red Bull and a few inspirational quotes.

That's usually how I get ready before a gig.

Some people have a morning routine. Some athletes have a pre-match routine. Mine is pretty simple: turn the music up, get my head in the right place and remind myself why I love doing what I do.

It's funny how a small routine can help you switch from everyday life into "game mode."

Oops... the algorithm's probably having a tantrum. 😆

No post from me for a couple of days. This was secretly a little experiment to see whether Facebook actually notices when I disappear.

Close-up magic or grand illusion? 🤔🪄

What's your favourite?

The huge stage illusions where someone appears, disappears or gets cut in half...

OR

The close-up stuff where the magic happens right under your nose, sometimes even in your own hands?

Personally, I love the fact that close-up magic leaves nowhere to hide. When the cards, coins or sponge balls are in your hands and something impossible happens... that's a special kind of reaction.

I've been booked to entertain guests at a private party in the Knightwood Lounge at St Mary's Stadium.

It's a good reminder that you never really know where the next conversation, recommendation or opportunity might lead.

With the venue overlooking the pitch, it's not a bad office for an evening... 👀

I love it when my monthly supply of playing cards arrives. To most people, it's just boxes of cards. To a magician, it's fresh miracles waiting to happen. ♥️♠️♦️♣️

🎩 Question for you...

What's your favourite kind of magic?

Do you prefer the traditional stuff... a deck of cards, a borrowed coin, something impossible happening right in front of your eyes?

Or do you enjoy magic that uses modern technology too? Phones, the internet, and things that blur the line between magic and technology.

It's a topic that can divide magicians, but at the end of the day, you're the audience, so your opinion is the one that really matters.

I wasn't going to post today...

But apparently if I skip a day, the Facebook algorithm decides I've retired, moved to a desert island, and given up magic. 😂

Over the last couple of days I've been posting different logo concepts for Magic Steve, and the response has been incredible.

A huge thank you to everyone who's commented, voted, messaged me privately, and offered suggestions. It's also been brilliant hearing from people who've met me in person and taken the time to share honest feedback about what the Magic Steve brand should represent. ✨️🎩🪄

That's been invaluable.

The goal was never just to create a logo.

The goal was to create something that reflects the experience people have when they watch the magic.

✨ Bringing people together
✨ Creating moments people talk about long after the event
✨ Leaving people with stories they still can't explain

I don't think we've quite crossed the finish line yet, but I genuinely feel like we're getting very close now.

I've attached the latest logo concept, along with a few examples of how it could look across business cards, banners, clothing and other branding materials.
