Castaway-Goole is a registered charity (Reg.Ch.No1129614) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (Co.No. 06475806). It has substantial community and voluntary support, and a workforce of professional artists who work with c100 participants each week. Current funders include Arts Council England, BBC Performing Arts Fund, LLoyds TSB Foundation, The Henry Smith Charity, Children in Need, Comic Relief and Youth Music.

Members of 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 & 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 group have began to learn about different camera techniques and editing video in preparation for making their own music video over the summer.

The Group recently visited Goole Riverbank along with the Museum’s Art Gallery to put into practice what they have learnt and learnt how to edit the videos themselves.

Castaway Youth Arts and Media is a creative group for young people aged 8 to 18, open to all abilities including those with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). The group learns various art forms and multimedia with a hands on approach which is led by the young people themselves. The group currently has spaces available.
