From My Heart — Thank You, Lucy !

It’s so difficult to put into words just how much I want to say as we say goodbye to our Legendary Lucy, who is leaving Butterfly Dance Studios.🦋
Lucy, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for everything you have given to our studio, our dancers and to me personally. You have been so much more than a dance teacher — you have been a wonderful colleague, a trusted member of our Butterfly family, and someone I have been incredibly proud to have beside me. My amigo !
Watching you blossom as a teacher has been such a joy. Your passion for dance, your patience, your cool moves & grooves, and the love you have shown our dancers has never gone unnoticed. You have encouraged them when they doubted themselves, celebrated their achievements and helped them grow not only as dancers, but as confident young people.
There have been so many classes, rehearsals, shows, laughs, stressful moments, proud moments and memories along the way. Those are the moments I will treasure most. You have given so much of yourself to Butterfly & Goole dancers and I hope you know just how appreciated you truly are.
As a Principal, one of the hardest parts of running a studio is saying goodbye to people who have become such an important part of its story. You have certainly left your mark on Butterfly, and Goole dancers. Lucy your absence will be felt by all of us.
I’m incredibly proud of you and everything you have achieved, and although I am heartbroken to see you leave, I am also excited for you and whatever the future holds. I hope you go forward knowing how loved, valued and respected you are.
Thank you for the memories. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for giving all the dancers so many special moments they will remember forever.
Butterfly Dance Studios and Goole dancers will always be a little piece of your journey, just as you will always be a very special part of ours. ⭐️
This isn’t goodbye forever — because once you are part of the Butterfly family, you are always part of the Butterfly family. 💗
