2018 Adult Ballet ~ a passion to deliver ballet to as many people as possible nurtured this idea ~ many fun years of adult ballet classes
2021 Silver Swans ~ the introduction of our fabulous Silver Swans Ballet classes (aimed at those 55 and over) ~ now attended by over 20 inspiring adult dancers
2020 Drama Classes ~ a wonderful era of drama classes ~ supported by a great team ~ seeing some of the children take their Lamda drama exams
LOCKDOWN - this happened and so did online GDA ~ forever grateful to all the grownups who logged on to our online classes for their children to stay connected and learning ~ the struggle was so real but we got through it together
2023 Adult Contemporary Dance ~ adding a new dimension to adult ballet dancers
2024 Creative and Contemporary Dance Classes ~ (another passion driven project) ~ amazing creative approach to dance ~ opening up a world of dance possibility

On this day 10 years ago GDA proudly opened its doors for the first time ~ having completed a door to door flyer run calls started coming in and the excitement grew from there ~ running just 3 classes for 3-7 year old ~ ~ 2 years later we grew to needing 2 days ~ today we run classes 5 days a week ~ catering from age 2.5 upwards

Its about the journey ~ striving and working to make something the best you can ~ the sense of achievement when you know the journey was a success ~ GDA has seen so many children take this journey and the sense of confidence that comes with it.
Our first exams were held in March 2017 and year after year we have shared in the students joy and pride.

Ohhh the fun we all had ~ years of legendary Easter and Summer Workshops ~ bring together a team of teachers for dance, music, drama, singing ~ the smiles on the children’s faces ~ even on the day 3 show day when we were all quite frankly physically and emotionally exhausted!
