Jody Ellen Robinson - Singing Teacher and Vocal Coach I am a Singing Teacher, Rep & Vocal coach based in Godstone, Surrey. I have performed in musicals and concerts, in cabaret and on TV and radio.

Whether you're a professional performer looking to develop your skills, or a complete beginner who'd just love to sing, I cater for all. Each lesson is individually tailored to each student depending on experience and I aim to create a safe, friendly environment where you can explore your voic

e freely. You will learn;

* How to use the voice safely, and develop it from a firm physiological understanding.

* How to explore musicality and the shape, colour and text of a song.

* How to portray a song and the performance skills that go with it - whether it's for Karaoke or the London Palladium! And we can explore all of the above through all genres of music should you wish.

ABOUT ME
I grew up in a musical household singing and learning the piano from a young age. In later life I read Music at Exeter University in the beautiful West Country where I graduated with first class honours. I went on to study first Composition at the Royal College of Music and then Voice and Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music. I have 15 years experience of teaching music and singing and I currently teach at The Urdang Academy and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance as well as at home in my beautiful studio in Tooting, South London. I have students in shows all over the country, including the West End and when I'm not teaching, I MD, do some arranging, vocal coach on shows, accompany singers and of course sing! I like to practise what I preach so to speak :-)
