Today has been all about reorganising, putting away and getting ready for the new academy year after a very busy few months of our 2026 Musical, End of Year events and Holiday Camps! 🎭🎪✨

Costumes packed away ✔️
Props organised ✔️
Equipment sorted ✔️
Everything back where it belongs ✔️

And just like that… we’re organised and ready for Season 7! 🌟

There’s something very satisfying about seeing everything reset and ready for another year of creating, learning and performing.

Sometimes progress needs something classes can't always give enough of — dedicated time.

That's exactly why we've created Stretch Lab. 💜

Our new Upper School flexibility session gives students focused time to work safely on:

✨ Flexibility
✨ Extension
✨ Lines
✨ Control
✨ Technique
✨ Individual flexibility goals

Rather than squeezing stretching into the beginning or end of another class, Stretch Lab gives it its own dedicated training time.

⭐ Especially recommended for our Limitless Troupe students and anyone wanting to develop their flexibility alongside their regular training.

🎭✨ THE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY GO ON STAGE…

It's a part of performing that the audience rarely gets to see.

The costumes are on.
The music is ready.
You can hear the audience taking their seats.

Backstage, there's a mixture of nerves, excitement, last-minute rehearsing and LOTS of “have I got everything?!” 😂

Friends are giving each other pep talks.
Teachers are doing final checks.
Someone is definitely practising the same eight-count for the 47th time. 👀

And then comes...

“Places please!”

Suddenly, the nerves turn into focus.

They take a breath.
They step into the wings.
The lights come up.

And all those weeks and months of rehearsals come down to one moment. 💜

The five minutes before they go on stage might look like chaos… but they're also where some of the best memories are made. ✨🎭

But we're SO CLOSE to being able to reveal our 2027 musical!

We're currently finalising the last pieces behind the scenes — including our venue and licensing — and as soon as everything is officially confirmed, the announcement is coming. 🎭✨

In the meantime, there's one VERY important date our performers can already put in their diaries...

Our Tap classes are welcoming new students for September!

Tap is brilliant for developing:

And most importantly… it's ridiculously good fun!

Whether your child is discovering tap for the first time or already has experience and wants to continue developing, we have options within our 2026/27 timetable.

💜 NEW FOR THIS YEAR: Our fortnightly Tap Improvers session gives experienced tappers additional time to maintain and develop their skills for just £10pcm.

A new academic year means new ways to learn, progress and have fun at CCA! 💜

We're really excited to be adding FOUR new classes to our programme this September:

🩰 LITTLE LEAPS 4-6 Years
A fun introduction to the world of dance for our younger students, exploring movement, music and creativity.

✨ STRETCH LAB 11 Years+
Dedicated flexibility and technique training for our Upper School students who want to take their training further.

👞 TAP IMPROVERS 10 Years+
A focused session for experienced tappers to maintain their technique, develop new skills and keep those feet working!

🎪 ADULT AERIAL & CIRCUS 18 Years+
And this one's for the grown-ups! Monthly sessions combining aerial and circus skills — no weekly commitment required.

Whether they're taking their very first steps into dance, looking for additional training, or you're finally ready to have a go yourself, there's something new waiting at CCA this year. 💜
