The Catteshall Lane Charity Christmas Light Display

Tonight is the FINAL NIGHT of the Christmas Light Display, before we switch them off for another year. If you've not been past yet, you have until 10pm tonight to see the lights.

Currently, onloine donations stand at £720.00 which is a little short of our £1,000.00 target. There have recently been a few very generous donations, but we're still not quite there - can you help push us a bit closer to the target?

As someone has made a very large donation, boosting the total to £500, as is customary, once we reach £500 and for every £100 raised thereafter, we'll add more lights to the display.

So, as it's New Year's Eve, fireworks seemed fitting.

One week left and still a way to go to reach our target. If you've not donated yet and would like to, it's not too late. It's easy to donate - even just £1 dropped into the bucket helps towards the total.

We're now well through this year's Christmas light display, but still a long way from our fundraising target. It's not too late to donate if you wish to - the lights are on for another couple of weeks.

Not long now!

The lights return next Saturday (29th Nov) with another new display! Switch-on will be at 5pm, so please feel free to join us on the night for the countdown!

Green Hub is a local community charity based in Milford, Witley & Godalming supporting teens (10-18) in Waverley, Surrey and NE Hampshire, who are facing social, emotional & mental health challenges. It’s called ‘social therapeutic horticulture’, and they come along to our Green Teens programme for a couple of hours each week for 12 weeks, working in one of our local Green Hub gardens, whatever the weather.

We'll be posting a link to the fundrainsing page later in the week, but for now, just wanted to update everyone with what's happening and when.

It's getting dark earlier, there's a chill in the air. The leaves are starting to turn and fall and everyone suddenly seems to have a cold. Winter is definitely coming.

BUT, that does mean the lights will soon return - something to brighten up those long dark nights. Just 7 weeks to go now! We'll be back with a new display on Saturday 29th Nov!

Further to Martin Cossers very kind announcement that half of any money raised from the 2024/5 Catteshall Lane Charity Christmas Light display would be donated to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex I have great pleasure in sharing his earlier post.

As always, a pleasure to be able to raise funds for worthwhile local charities.

We'll be back on 1st December with a whole new display, ready to raise even more for another worthy cause.
