We’re thrilled to introduce our leading role, Puss in Boots, played by the amazing Olive! 🐾✨

We’re delighted to welcome Olive back again this year. Her strong comedic timing and captivating performance bring the role of Puss in Boots to life in a truly unforgettable way.

There’s far more to Puss than meets the eye. He’s cunning, quick-witted, and intelligent - and with a pair of magical boots, he can truly make dreams come true!

With clever tricks and a hint of magic, can he help Tom win the hand of the princess? And who knows… maybe he’ll find his own happily ever after too. You’ll have to join us to find out!

Lucy returns to Glusburn Youth Theatre once again. With her great energy and standout stage presence, this is a performance you won’t want to miss!

Tom finds himself down in the dumps after his father leaves him nothing but a cat in his will, until he discovers this is no ordinary cat!

Hoping to turn his misfortunes around and win the heart of the princess, Tom faces many challenges along the way. And with a nasty Ogre lurking in the shadows, can Tom find his happily ever after? Join us to find out!

Rebecca returns to the stage this year as our beautiful princess. Get ready for powerful vocals and confident stage presence as she brings this character to life.

Princess Chardonnay is strong, sassy, and knows exactly what she wants - and that’s not to marry the person her parents have chosen for her. Will she be able to fight against her parents’ wishes and find her own happy ending? You’ll have to grab your tickets to find out!

Get ready to meet our villain… Ogre Steve, brought to the stage by Thomas!

Thomas makes his on-stage debut with Glusburn Youth Theatre this year, having previously been part of our backstage crew. We’re thrilled to see him step into the spotlight and take on this menacing role.

Ogre Steve is nasty, cruel, and always lurking in the shadows, ready to cause mayhem throughout the town. With mischief on his mind and trouble wherever he goes, he’ll stop at nothing to ruin everyone’s happy ending. But will good triumph over evil? You’ll have to join us to find out!

We’re excited to introduce Kitty Soft Paws, the Princess’s loyal feline companion, brought to life by the talented Antonia! 🐱✨

Antonia joins us in this role with incredible dance ability and expressive movement, making her perfectly suited to this character. With plenty of physical storytelling, Kitty Soft Paws truly comes alive through Antonia’s graceful and dynamic performance.

Kitty is sassy, loyal, and fiercely devoted to her best friend, the Princess. Always close by her side, this feline has a big personality and plenty of attitude! Where will Kitty’s journey lead? You’ll have to join us to find out…

As opening night quickly approaches, we’re excited to introduce some of our 2026 cast!

First up is our lovable and ever-so-fabulous Dame Dorothy Drawers - or Dame Dotty for short. Played by Alex Benson! 👗👠

Alex is a familiar face at Glusburn Youth Theatre, having been part of many of our pantomimes over the years. With his impeccable comedic timing and fabulous energy, Dame Dotty is sure to be an audience favourite!

Dame Dotty has her hands full bringing up three boys single-handedly, while also serving as head caterer to the King and Queen, and all whilst staying extra fabulous.

Expect glamorous frocks and plenty of belly laughs as Alex brings this larger-than-life character to the stage! ✨
