Gloucester based Rain or Shine Theatre Company is looking for one professional actor, local to Gloucester to join our cast for a summer UK open air tour of
The Pickwick Papers
• The engagement period is 12th May – 30th August
• A total of 15 ½ weeks
• 17 days rehearsal plus 57 performance days.
• 3-5 days per working week
• The pay will be above National Minimum Wage, plus holiday pay, plus pension contribution.
• Total estimated pay for the tour = £8,900
• As well as performing, cast members will be expected to drive the tour van, load and unload the van and build / dismantle the touring stage and set for each performance.
• On most days the tour van will start and terminate in Gloucester so actors will need to be able to commute to our HQ on a daily basis, including late at night.
• Accommodation will be provided when the tour is scheduled to stay overnight away from base.
Roles:
1.Nathaniel Winkle founder Member of the Pickwick Club – playing age 20-40 (Nathaniel claims to be a sportsman but isn’t)
Actors will be required to multi-role other characters both Male and female as well as this named character.
