Gloucestershire Police Male Voice Choir The choir was formed in 1970 and is made up of men from many different backgrounds who enjoy singing together to raise money for charities & good causes.

The choir have been practising hard and are excited about performing this Friday 11th September, 7:30pm at Llanthony Place Retirement Village, Gloucester 🏠

Choir family members are welcome with a very reasonable £5 admission. We also have a very special guest joining us 🤫

Alisha from the Sue Ryder charity was delighted today to receive £130 from donations at our recent choir concert at the Pelican Inn, Gloucester. 💰

We are lucky that we are able to sing in a variety of venues incuding churches, care homes and public houses. Each has their own particular attraction - this one definitely had a certain appeal thanks to Wye Valley Brewery! 🍻

What an amazing afternoon we had at the The Pelican Inn, Gloucester 🎵

We raised £130 in total for the brilliant Sue Ryder charity, a wonderful cause dedicated to helping those tackling illness and grief.

We can only thank the amazing crowd we sung to (and especially those who joined in) 🎤

Though rain put a stop to our outdoors singing, we were welcomed in by the team at The Pelican (although the smell of local b**r probably brought us in quicker) 🍻

Here’s three good reasons for making our GPMVC concert at the Pelican! 🎵

Firstly, singing is good for your mental health, whether you are participating or listening! ☺️

Secondly, we are raising funds for the Sue Ryder charity - an excellent cause that affects many of our lives. 💰

Thirdly, you can see for youself what we are about - we are always looking for new recruits! 🎤

And if that wasn’t enough, the Pelican sells rather good b**r! 🍺

A huge thankyou to the ExtraCare St Oswald's Retirement Village for hosting our concert on Friday night! 🎵

We absolutely loved singing for you and we hope it was thoroughly enjoyed. 😊

It was also a special night with 2 new songs in our repertoire, Love Runs Out and Crazy Little Thing Called Love 🎤
