Applications are open to join the Worcester 2027 Festival Chorus!

Want to experience what it's like being part of the world's longest-running choral Festival and to sing with the incredible Philharmonia Orchestra? This could be your chance! Auditions will take place between 14–17 October in Worcester, and the deadline for applications is Friday 25 September.

Organ Recital | Don't miss tomorrow's organ recital at Hereford Cathedral at 1.15pm, when Nicholas Freestone will be performing an organ recital including the music of our new associate composer, Grace-Evangeline Mason.

Day 8 Recap | What a final day at Gloucester! Little ones were inspired by the Liliput Duo in 'Beside the Seaside' and we learned about Dame Clara Butt with Jacqueline Edwards. We welcomed the incredible Sydney Philharmonia Choirs for a concert of choral favourites, and James Gilchrist and Anna Tilbrook took us to the Gloucestershire countryside in Severn Meadows. We closed the Festival with our come and sing evensong, and a thrilling performance of Elgar's masterwork 'The Dream of Gerontius'.

Day 7 Recap | Andrew Reid made his Three Choirs Festival Evening Concert debut with a terrific performance of Mozart's Requiem, and we were thrilled to welcome a 350+ person strong Come and Sing choir to workshop the piece that afternoon. We heard the final of three RCO recitals with Alastair Stone, and heard the music of Howells and Wood in a magnificent recital with the London Chamber Ensemble Quartet.

What's On | It's the final day of Gloucester 2026! We're going out with a bang with a concert from special guests Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, a fantastic Come and Sing Evensong, and our grand finalé is none other than Elgar's The Dream of Gerontius.

Day 6 Recap | Our Celebrity Organist Thomas Ospital wowed audiences with his intrepid playing and improvisation, and we learned more about the new Gloucester organ from Paul Hale. We 'Called the whole thing Off' with our second workshop with Tim Steiner and Mark Padmore gave us an empassioned recital of 'Winterreise'. We closed the night with Monteverdi's pivotal 'Vespers of 1610', and the St Cecilia Singers performed Bernstein's energetic 'Chichester Psalms'.
