Such a gorgeous pup, this guy was a challenge because his colour jumps from one to another without gradual gradient change. But worth the challenge because look how cute he is 🥰

Did you know these guys were bred to hunt badgers? I didn't! But that's where their name comes from! They were bred with short legs and narrow bodies so they could track scents easily and crawl into burrows. This is why they are also known for being very brave dogs despite their size too 🐾

A little Throwback for you guys today because why not? 😊

You might start seeing a little less from me on here for the next little while. Commissions are still open of course, but I've taken on a few other things in my personal life and they've got to come before my love for painting animals. I'm still very grateful for all your support and I'll still try and post throwbacks and hopefully some new content every now and then.

My waitlist might get a little longer now but I'll never stop doing this completely so please don't be afraid to reach out either via DM or on my website

Well I thought I'd have Kali completely finished today but the day has just run away from me! Apologies for those excited to see the finished piece, I do really appreciate all the love and support I receive through DMs 😊

I'm taking a break next week to enjoy a holiday with some friends and, up until today, I had completely forgotten how long it takes to organise and pack a suitcase 🤣
So you'll have to make do with what I have painted of the beautiful Kali so far, I really do love her eye detail!

I'll have her completed soon, hopefully with a little video of how I paint whiskers, they're fiddly things!

You guys are loving the grey paper at the moment, I love it too! Don't you think it really helps bring the gorgeous colouring out in my paintings?

These dogs are MASSIVE! Extremely gentle though and this guy is just as cuddly as he is big. Stubborn to the core, which I think just makes him more lovable 🥰

Paris' close up

She's a bright white beauty! I love how she stands out against the grey background. I thought long and hard about what coloured paper to choose for Paris and her brother to make sure their contrasting colourings both complimented when painted.
I love how she turned out!

Paris and Onyx

It was a joy to paint these two, I absolutely love the contrast between their colourings. What a beautiful pair!

These Dobermans are two peas in a pod and one is never seen without the other so they just had to be painted together 🥰
