Wrandy Theatre Group presents: A-lad-in my Hole (Adults Only Pantomime)

🎭 We’re auditioning for ALL roles:

* Abendover
* The Spirit of the C**k Ring
* Aladdin Twankey
* Widow Twankey
* The Emperor
* Princess Jizzmine
* The Genie of the Camp

✨ Additional character roles:

* The Lamp
* The Carpet
* The Plumb Tree

🎶 We’re also looking for a chorus of 3–5 performers, so there’s a role for everyone, whether you’re after a principal part or want to be part of the ensemble.

Fancy being our fabulous Dame? Or perhaps you’re more of a Bhaddie 💅🏻😈 Whatever role catches your eye, come along and give it a go!

From 7:00pm, we’ll be pairing people up and experimenting with different scenes, characters and combinations. We’re really looking at chemistry between performers, so don’t be surprised if you’re asked to read for several different roles.

🎤 Going for a principal role?
If you’ve performed with WRANDY before, you won’t need to sing again. If we haven’t heard you sing, we’ll just need to check you can hold a tune and don’t sound like a drowning cat… unless that’s exactly what the character requires. We only appreciate purposefully terrible performances. 😉

Hi everyone,

For tonight’s read-through, we’d like to see people performing in pairs so we can explore the dynamics between potential cast members and how they work opposite one another.

This will most likely form the basis of the audition process, unless we come away feeling that we need to see more before making any decisions.

✨ We’re recruiting for our Aladdin: The Family Pantomime production team! ✨

The Kings Theatre, Gloucester is looking for passionate, creative people to help bring our next pantomime to life 🎭

We’re currently looking for:
• Director
• Choreographer
• Stage Manager
• Backstage Crew
• Sound & Lighting Technician
• Costume & Props

This is all about community theatre 💚
You don’t need 20 years of experience, what matters most is enthusiasm, commitment, and a love for creating something special together.

The show has been allocated an attractive budget, and this will be a collaborative approach alongside our traditional adult Panto team Wrandy Theatre Group, running in parallel, a really exciting opportunity to be part of something bigger ✨

Show dates: 9th-12th December 2026

All money raised from the show goes straight back into The Kings Theatre, so you’ll be helping support and sustain our local theatre.
