Some tattoos carry a story you could never plan. 🤍

These siblings came in for this matching tattoos in memory of their dad.

While they waited together in the family bereavement room when he was poorly they started doing a puzzle. As they got towards the end, they realised they couldn’t find the final piece.

They checked inside the box and found a little Post-it note, written by someone

“One piece missing.”

Their dad sadly passed away, and those three ordinary words suddenly came to mean something so much more.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of tattooing those exact words in the original handwriting, alongside a single puzzle piece.

Because their family will always have one piece missing. 🤍🧩

I’d already decided that September was going to have a little Western theme… but after the incredibly sad news this week, there was only one person it could be dedicated to. 🤍

So September’s Western flash is now for Dolly. 🦋✨

An absolute icon who was so much more than the rhinestones, big hair and country music. She was funny, kind, strong, unapologetically herself and spent so much of her life doing good for others.

I’ve created two sheets of Dolly & Western-inspired fine line tattoos, with little nods to her music, her words, her style and everything that made her so loved.
