Come along to Partington Theatre this Heritage Weekend to watch 'The Art of Inventing' by Partington youth theatre.

Jamie and Charlie are two budding young entrepreneurs, looking to make some extra pocket money. Will an old blackberry phone be the answer to all their problems? Join them as they meet famous inventors of the past and learn what is takes to be a true innovator.

It's a fun, bright, relatable show, filled with Yorkshire charm and a whole lot of Dolly Parton. So dust off your cow boy boots and join us in shaking off those January blues.

Such a fantastic opportunity in Partingtons 2025/2026 season!
Here are the roles for young performers in more detail

Billy/ Male (early 20s): The son, an artist who is obsessed with Dolly Parton. Gentle, creative, and struggling to find his voice.

Sophie/ Female (early 20s): The daughter, training to be a black belt. Fiery, determined, sometimes blunt.

Pete/ Male (early 20s): Sophie’s friend. A Plumber, Awkward, well-meaning, and trying hard to fit in.

Tonight some of our youth members are taking to the stage in 'Big Bad and Little Red' by Raymond Blakesley, as part of Partington Theatre one act play festival!

They have all worked so hard these past few weeks and we can't wait to see them on stage tonight.
