Glastonbury Symposium Investigating Signs Of Our Times

The Glastonbury Symposium is one of England's longest-established and acclaimed 'alternative' conferences, where the audience is often as interesting as the speakers! Held in the unique environs of the fascinating and varied town of Glastonbury in Somerset, the Symposium has grown and evolved massively since its inauguration at the Blue Note Café in 1990.

Highlights of 2025 included spiritual philosopher Patricia Cori, renowned UFO researcher Gary Heseltine, geoengineering expert Ian Simpson, “Deliverance minister” Jason Bray and shaman Deborah Cartwright along with many other talented speakers with important things to say, exploring aspects of the paranormal, cover-ups and liberty issues, ancient stones and mysteries, biological UFOs, spirituality, mushroom medicine and astrology, and, of course, crop circles.

The Saturday Forum panel also included the final live appearance of the much-loved and now sadly departed Marcus Allen, in full feisty form.

Mycelium, plant medicine and consciousness ... Nutritional consultant and author Juliette Bryant in conversation with Andy Thomas:

On Andy Thomas’s latest ‘Expand Your Horizons’ radio podcast at fftradio.com, he chats with Juliette (who spoke brilliantly at last year’s Glastonbury Symposium) to explore why food matters far beyond calories and convenience. They trace her journey from childhood herb gardens and her mother’s illness to a lifelong vocation in plant medicine and mushrooms, discussing how nutrition, intention and local regenerative growing can transform wellbeing.

The show unpacks the science and folklore of fungi, from mycelial networks to non‑psychoactive “magical” mushrooms, alongside current research into psilocybin microdosing and mental health. Juliette considers plant consciousness, traditions from Peru to the Celtic world, and practical ways to reconnect without abusing the land.

The conversation also touches on food sovereignty, the Codex Alimentarius, and England’s old Herbalists’ Charter, and how to eat, grow and relate to nature with more reverence — and why this might lift our spirits as much as our health.

Food For Thought Radio is free to listen to. See Andy’s Host page on the site for the podcast links to this and previous shows.

How our our thoughts, beliefs and ideas impact health, physical and mental ... Glastonbury Symposium ‘Expand Your Horizons’ speaker highlights 2026 – Dawn Lester

Dawn is the co-author of ‘What Really Makes You Ill’ and ‘The Nature of Reality’. Research she conducted over the course of more than a decade involved investigating a variety of different topics, not just health, leading to the inevitable discovery that much of what we’ve been told throughout our lives is simply untrue.

Inspired by the saying ‘Be the change you wish to see in the world’, Dawn shares her understanding of the power we each possess to influence our life experiences to help people empower themselves and resolve the challenges they face.

In her Symposium presentation on Sunday 26 July, Dawn explores ‘Embracing a New Paradigm for Health and Life’, saying: “The human body is a self-healing organism. However, its functions are not solely physical; they also incorporate the mind, which means that we need to become more aware of the role of our thoughts, beliefs and ideas and how they impact health, both physical and mental. Understanding this provides us with a truly holistic approach to health that facilitates far greater control over our minds and bodies, and all aspects of life, than we’ve been led to believe is possible.”

Rediscovering the ancient sounds of a lost world ... Glastonbury Symposium ‘Expand Your Horizons’ speaker highlights 2026 – Greg Moffitt

Greg is a writer and broadcaster who has been published extensively. He has over thirty-five years’ experience in the music industry as both a journalist and keyboard player for controversial Gothic black metal band Cradle of Filth. He is co-author of the book ‘Beyond Time and Space – The Art of Paul Raymond Gregory’ and currently hosts the Legalise Freedom podcast, which explores a wide range of topics, including the nature of reality and consciousness, science and spirituality, astronomy, archaeology and alternative history, myth, magic and metaphysics, transhumanism and technocracy, popular culture ... and the entire future of life on Earth.

In his presentation for the Symposium on Sunday 26 July, Greg investigates ‘The Sound of the Stones – Archaeoacoustics and the Ancients’.

“Archaeoacoustics” is a sub-field of archaeology which studies the relationship between people and sound throughout history, and “psychoacoustics” is the scientific study of the perception of sound by the human auditory system. In this revealing talk, Greg explores the vast significance of sound in human evolution, culture, and our interpretation of the natural world, demonstrating how different the Earth may have sounded to our ancient ancestors, and how the swarming sound world of the 21st century has severed the connection to our innate senses and spirit.

Why the recording and archiving of crop circles matters – and why many mysteries still remain ... Top circle researcher Barry Reynolds in conversation with the Glastonbury Symposium’s Andy Thomas:

On this week’s ‘Expand Your Horizons’ radio show at fftradio.com, live at 6pm on Sunday 31 May and available after as a podcast, Andy’s guest is the respected crop circle archivist and his long-time circle colleague, Barry Reynolds, who has spoken at the Symposium twice over the years.

As the key mover of the now ever-growing Crop Circle Research Archive, which is set to become one the most important online resources on the subject, and as a keen researcher of circles and other phenomena for many decades, Barry has quietly become a key figure in preserving important evidence of the unexplained for future generations.

Barry and Andy discuss many aspects of the ever-controversial circle mystery, recounting some of their extraordinary experiences, looking at the history of circle research, the claims and counter-claims around it, and the phenomenon’s possible futures.

The station is free to listen to. Just search for fftradio and click on the play button near the top of the page to hear the live transmissions, or see Andy’s Host page for the podcast links.

The brother of a victim at the World Trade Center is still seeking justice ... Glastonbury Symposium ‘Expand Your Horizons’ speaker highlights 2026 – Matt Campbell

Matt is the older brother of Geoff Campbell; a British citizen killed on 11 September 2001 while attending a conference in the North Tower of the World Trade Center – 25 years ago this autumn. Since then, Matt has researched 9/11 and campaigned for justice for his brother in both the United States and the United Kingdom, questioning the official causes given for the falls of the twin towers.

On Saturday 25 July, at the Symposium Matt will present ‘Challenging the State on 9/11 – From High Court to Supreme Court’ and examine the constitutional journey of a case that has now moved from the High Court to a “leapfrog” appeal before the UK Supreme Court.

The extraordinary but crucially important case arises from an attempt to challenge the official narrative of 9/11 within a UK court of law and to confront a deeper constitutional question: can access to a judicial forum be effectively blocked by executive decision when the subject matter is politically sensitive and contested? It asks whether the courts will permit scrutiny of state-sanctioned conclusions, or whether certain matters are placed beyond examination by the very mechanisms designed to uphold the rule of law.

A president’s great-granddaughter has some important words about the hidden history of creation ... Glastonbury Symposium ‘Expand Your Horizons’ speaker highlights 2026 – Laura Eisenhower

Laura is the great-granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower but also an internationally acclaimed speaker, author and astrologer who has presented her work worldwide, as she reveals exopolitical information about his administration that has been largely held in secrecy.

Laura is considered by many to be “one of North America’s leading researchers and experts on health, exopolitics, alchemy, metaphysics, astrology and galactic history” and works to free us from “3-D holographic time-loops and military-industrial complexes”, exposing hidden agendas so we can take our power back. Feeling a calling regarding her mission since she was a child, she has gained incredible insight through her wilderness adventures and psychic development and has been connecting major dots about how to guide us into higher Earth energies.

In her presentation for the Glastonbury Symposium on Saturday 25 July 2026, Laura presents ‘DNA, Astrology and Alchemical Laws of Creation’.

Laura asks, “What does astrology reveal about the Great Awakening, alchemy and ascension?” She will go deep into our galactic history and covered-up events that took place during and after World War Two with President Eisenhower’s administration and his connection with Val Thor and ‘The Guardians’. She will share what she has discovered about ETs, their technology, and Tesla, helping us to see where we are now to expose the hidden history that helps explain the “War on Consciousness”.

From Truth-seeking to Concert Halls: The first of Andy Thomas’s fortnightly ‘Expand Your Horizons’ shows on Food For Thought Radio is now available to hear as a podcast.

For this opening instalment Andy interviews the brilliantly maverick classical musician Piers Adams, who has presented at several Glastonbury Symposiums, to talk about breaking conventions in conformist circles and his journey of both exciting and upsetting audiences in equal measure with phenomenal recorder playing while sharing his radical views on truth and mysteries in a domain unused to such challenges.

The conversation covers many fascinating areas, including how Piers and Andy first met in a crop circle, how music has been used to liberate but also control the masses over the centuries, the threats from AI to musicians and composers, and wider freedom issues.

To hear the podcast (and all future editions), go to Andy’s Host page at the fftradio website or find the link on his own Truth Agenda site.

How to live a soul-led life ... Glastonbury Symposium ‘Expand Your Horizons’ speaker highlights 2026 – John Siddique

As the author of nine books, including the acclaimed ‘Signposts of the Spiritual Journey’, as well as being the founder of Authentic Living and The Open Space, an international community of practice, John is a teacher, writer and photographer whose meditations and teachings have reached millions worldwide, with more than 35,000 students taking his online courses. He has featured in Time, The Guardian and on the BBC, and serves as Project Co-ordinator for the Royal Literary Fund and Writers Mosaic in the North of England.

We are therefore pleased to welcome John as our special Sunday evening closing speaker at the Symposium on 26 July, as his work is rooted in direct experience, the ordinary human path, and the courage to live truthfully, sending attendees back out into the world on an uplifting and optimistic note.

In his presentation, ‘Living A Soul-Led Life’, John will share stories and practices from his own path as a writer and sacred teacher and offer a simple way to recognise the voice of your soul amid the noise, roles, and expectations we face.

John says: “This is a talk on congruence, rebellion, and the ordinary light within. Many of us spend years trying to fit ourselves to the world. Then something quieter begins to call from within. Together we’ll explore what living from awareness looks like in ordinary life, and how small acts of congruence can change the way we meet work, love and uncertainty. Expect reflection, gentle enquiry, a few rebellious stories, and a short, guided pause you can take home, plus simple prompts to help you walk your own way with courage and kindness.”
