ARTIST SPOTLIGHT [JOOLS 00:00 - 01:00 SATURDAY]

To experience Jools in their most chaotic and unpredictable full flight is, the band were once told, to not know whether you are about to be kicked in the face or kissed on the cheek. Even that, however, feels like an understatement.

At any moment the Jools experience, on stage and on record, can turn on a sixpence from that of unbridled rage at the world to a celebration of the beauty that can still be found hidden in its murky corners. The punk rock of Jools is at once visceral and violent, cathartic and confrontational, and at the next exultant and exhilarating. Jools is duality by design, where contradiction is empowerment harnessed as a force for progress, sonically and societally.

A collective of musicians – Mitch Gordon and Kate Price on vocals, Chris Johnston and Callum Connachie on guitar, Joe Dodd on Bass, and Chelsea Wrones on drums – spread between London and Leicester, Jools found each other as much by accident as design in the earliest days of 2023.

The world of Jools is a space in which such progress and evolution can thrive. It’s there on stage, and it’s there in your headphones. Jools is a freedom of sound and freedom of self, an unfiltered expression of and search for truth, expressed with inextinguishable indignation. Be it a punch in the face or a kiss on the cheek, Jools is nothing if not a band to believe in.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT [TAGORE CHAYNE]

Tagore Chayne is a songwriter born in Brighton, based in South London. Raised on their mother’s dad-rock compilation CDs, and influenced by time spent in the mountains of Appalachia, Tagore’s songs sit in between seats that were fashioned by the greats of blues and country. With unique and evocative live performances, Tagore transports their audience to an intimate world, full of stories that spin between sincerity and hilarity, absurdity and darkness.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT [TYPE ONE COMMUNITY]

23:00pm - 3:00am FRIDAY

Type One Community is a not-for-profit collective founded by DJs, producers and ravers Kyle Parsley, JayU and Sophia Violet (Girls Don’t Sync) — three Type 1 diabetics who are proof that the party doesn’t stop when you’re living with T1D.

Built from dancefloors and driven by connection, Type One Community is all about creating safer, more inclusive spaces where people with diabetes (and their allies) can meet, vibe and celebrate life without limits.

Through electrifying takeovers, unmissable events and vibrant community socials, they’re rewriting what it means to live with diabetes — turning lived experience into empowerment, awareness into action and dancefloors into support networks. From Glastonbury takeovers to club collaborations and festival activations, they’ve been making serious noise in just over a year.

Their motto? Where everybody parties to make life with diabetes better. This summer, they’re bringing serious energy to the festival stage, programming a genre-spanning lineup of boundary-pushing DJs for a celebration of music, joy and unity.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT [MOSS KISSING & HANNAH MASON THU 17:45 - 18:30]

Moss kissing & Hannah Mason return with new material developed during their residency, ZACHARIAS, this year at in Lisbon. Pulling from Biblical texts, holy drones, noise and rhythms, the duo explore the dynamics of the spirit and invite the audience to take some time to sit and feel the sonic waves wash over them.

We can’t wait to invite Moss & Hannah back to the Hive stage after their emotive and engaging performance last year - this is a show you don’t want to miss!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT [80s Dub Club]

From DJ Chris Arnold (the mind behind the smash hit show The Beatles Dub Club) comes five brand new DJ sets under the guise of Decades Dub Club which are all taking place on the Thursday of Glastonbury Festival this year in various venues around the site. On the Hive stage - get ready for the 80s Dub Club!

Expect a history lesson in DUB from The Hives favourite lecturer 21:00 - 22:00 Thursday night 🇯🇲

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT [KISKADEE]

Over the next few weeks leading up to the show we will be doing a deep dive into some of the amazing acts we have performing over the weekend.

To kick things off - we have the extremely talented and rather lovely Kiskadee, playing on Thursday 22:00-23:00!

Kiskadee is an acclaimed electronic artist blending organic and electronic elements into emotive soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from his island upbringing, his music transforms the textures of daily life into bittersweet beats. Following the release of his debut album, A Room to Breathe (2024), Kiskadee performed at Glastonbury and received support from BBC Radio 1 BBC 6 Music, and tastemakers like Clash and Complex. With a reputation for captivating live performances and immersive sound design, crafting music to resonate with a global audience.

We can’t wait to host him and we’re certain he’s going to be a dance floor filler!
