I certainly know that if Dance did not exist for me, I wouldn’t exist.

🤲 It’s a language through movement that joins us together.

🌿We learnt about Wassail traditions, we drew our trees, we sang, we wrote our poems, we move and connect.
🌿What a great way to spend time with your classmates at a wonderful museum!!

Giving thanks to all teachers and participants for the time I have been assisting at Parkinson’s Dance.

The time with you all has taught me how I can navigate my teaching and deepening my knowledge of people with Parkinson’s.

Facing cognitive challenges, that can affect the physical and mental ability to carry out daily activities, remember to keep moving. Challenge the brain and the body. There is a lot of support out there, and these sessions are a fantastic way to stay connected.

Thank you so much Carrie and Sammie for this incredible opportunity, to understand
the research behind each exercise I feel it’s been a great way to teach and become a Health & Wellbeing Facilitator and bring light to the Parkinson’s community.
