Thanks to Karine Polwart, the Royal Lyceum and the Raw Material production team for a fantastic Touch Tour for Windblown: "a hauntingly beautiful tribute to a palm tree facing its chainsaw demise."

If you can't make it to this afternoon's description, I really recommend trying to catch future dates of this quietly-powerful performance of poetry, song and effortless storytelling.

It's the second performance on our Scottish tour with National Theatre of Scotland - The High Life.

I always forget what a gorgeous theatre His Majesty's, Aberdeen is.

It has been wonderful to play to large, enthusiastic audiences so far.

The next venue is Eden Court Theatre in Inverness in two weeks, followed by Dundee Rep Theatre and The Kings Glasgow. See you there!

I've had a fantastic couple of weeks working with Edinburgh Music Theatre on Footloose: The Musical at the Church Hill Theatre. Such a great production (running until Saturday night, still a handful of tickets available!) and a brilliant team committed to inclusion and access.

Sadly, I let the side down here with my anorak, compared to BSL Interpreters Danielle and Lou, with their excellent Footloose-inspired outfits :D

As we catch our breath at the halfway mark of show week, we want to take a moment to thank three incredible humans: Danielle, Lou and Chris 👏

As part of our ongoing commitment to making amateur theatre more accessible, last night’s performance of Footloose featured both BSL interpretation and audio description.

Our brilliant interpreters, Danielle Rennie and Lou Howie, have spent the past few weeks working closely with the cast - and even learned elements of the choreography so they could seamlessly weave it into their interpretation. 🤟

Behind the scenes, our audio describer, Christopher McKiddie, has been hard at work crafting a detailed script, enabling audience members with visual impairments to fully experience the show through wireless headsets. Members of our Creative Team and Board also tried the headsets and were blown away by the level of detail Chris captured.👂

We took a break from the incessant swirl of the pantosphere last night for the of Mamma Mia at the Edinburgh Playhouse.

We were joined on the by Para Lioness Samantha Gough, also a British champion para rower.

We are back on panto duty tonight at Dundee Rep Theatre for their sensational production of Jack and the Beanstalk. Come and join us!

Like attending the Olympics, there's something exhilarating about seeing the best people in the world at something, at that absolute peak of their powers.

This weekend at the Edinburgh International Festival you can do exactly that with Figures In Extinction, a collaboration between the *best choreographer in the world, Crystal Pite, and the *best dance company in the world, Nederlands Dans Theater.

Even if you don't manage to attend our and (Sunday, 3pm), I urge you to abandon your plans and see this.
