Last night at our AGM, we were delighted to present this year’s Frances Paul Salver to Gemma Connolly ❤️

The Salver is awarded each year to a member who has gone above and beyond for the club, in memory of Frances Paul, one of our original members.

Since joining us in 2022, Gemma has given so much to Eastwood Entertainers, from serving on the committee and stage managing to being a huge part on leading our wardrobe team.

Her hard work and dedication, especially throughout We Will Rock You, have been hugely appreciated.

Following the success of We Will Rock You, Eastwood Entertainers are back with a night of live entertainment featuring performances from some of our talented members, celebrating songs from your favourite movies and musicals.

Expect a mix of musical theatre favourites, film classics, bingo, cheap drinks and a fantastic night out! 🍻

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of our former Honorary President, Allan Steele MBE.

Allan became Honorary President of Eastwood Entertainers in 1990 and remained a valued supporter of EE for 35 years. As Provost and Councillor, he was a passionate advocate for local drama and the performing arts, supporting not only Eastwood Entertainers but the wider local theatre community.

Many members will fondly remember Allan attending our productions, his wonderfully witty rhyming messages that appeared in every show programme, and his generous tradition of donating a bottle of wh**ky for each raffle.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan’s family and friends at this sad time.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by everyone at Eastwood Entertainers.

Last night was our We Will Rock You Watch Party where some of our cast and crew got together to watch back our production and relive an unforgettable week at Eastwood Park Theatre 🎸

A huge thank you to everyone who made the production such a success, and a special thank you to Blythswood Square Hotel for kindly letting us use their fantastic cinema room for the evening. 🍿
