After last weeks so so performance against Stranraer, Queen's decided to turn up and play a bit on Saturday against Airdrie FC. A good win by the Spider's gets them into a decent league position and it's looking good for staying up this year, maybe a play off place ? Who knows !?! Was down at Dumbarton last night shooting this little slice of Scottish Cup history. The first time a Junior side has knocked a Championship club out of the cup...a wee Cam Op type comment here - the reason I didn't follow the goalscorer straight after the goal, was that I thought the ball was going to rebound off the post and be smashed in by the big forward bearing down on goal. Ye good ole Spider's done it again at the weekend, another 2-0 victory in the bag, this time against a, er, very physical Brechin City side.
No red cards, or carmine tinged mist to report from this game, just a solid home win for a team that is starting to look at home in this division.

One of my Cup games from last year went up again...just to prove no one's perfect, I sorta lost the baw in the build up to the first goal. In my defence, although it's a suspect plea I know, it was straight from the kick off and I was still getting my bearings from a very tight little spot supplied by Dumbarton :)

Bread n' butter is a big favourite of mine, so it was good to back at Hampden on Saturday to film the Spider's against Peterhead. Not the greatest game but a couple of penalty shouts in the mix for the ref to make a call on. He got a 50% strike rate on the decisions !
