It was the last session of the term for our younger STEM explorers today.
It was "kids' choice", so we made slime (always a favourite!), ate some freeze dried food like astronauts, and mixed our own perfumes! We all smell great!!

New term dates will be posted in August, but in the meantime you could book a STEM holiday session (or four!) to keep your child engaged in the summer!

Summer STEM sessions in East Kilbride are filling up!
Book your place now for fun, learning and hands on activities, all run by a qualified science teacher.
Sessions are themed and a snack and drink is included.

P1-4 sessions are from 9:30 till 12.
P4-7 sessions are from 1 till 3:30pm.

July 21st- Disaster Zone Engineering
July 30th- Extreme Experiments
August 4th- Theme Park Science

So busy at STEM club this week I forgot to take photos!! Managed to get these two!

We were investigating Smell on Saturday, with games, taste tests and quizzes!

Holiday club dates are being finalised, but I have a few definite dates on www.bookwhen.com/stemexplorers if you're keen to get organised!

It's a fun, hands on way of keeping the kids entertained this summer, with 2.5 hours of STEM fun, run by a qualified Science teacher!
