PERCHED {acrylic on canvas board}

I sketched out this piece at 3am after having a nightmare. My first ever teddy Fred had fallen off the top shelf where he usually sits and was face down on the floor. So I slumped out my bed, whilst picking him up, I could feel a really intense heat from our hallway, turning round to check, I was greeted with the towering silhouette of... this. My eyes felt like they were burning out of my head, but all I could do was stare like a deer in headlights. Big outstretched wings, struggling against the size of our narrow hallway, with both legs and arms clawing onto the wall to my left and the banister to my right. I woke up with really watery eyes.
