✨ Exhibition Announcement ✨

I’m thrilled to have my photograph We Are Reaching included in Women in Photography at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography! The show runs from March 5-29, 2025 and celebrates women photographers in honor of International Women’s Month.

For this piece, I strapped my tiny solargraphy pinhole camera to the roof of my building in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, facing west, and left it for several days to capture the setting sun. But the days were filled with mist, and the sun was obscured. After scanning the image and inverting it, I was struck by its portrayal of the city. It looked like another world, far, far away, in another galaxy. And yet, I can feel us reaching—human influence infecting the stars.

If you’re in Glasgow, stop by and experience the incredible work of women photographers from around the world!

Colonized Blue (2025)
Oil on Canvas, 12x12"

A color once symbolic of vast, untouched waters and open skies—now marked, gridded, and enclosed. Colonized Blue reflects the ways human intervention has fractured the natural world, imposing boundaries on ecosystems that once flowed freely. Inspired by the accelerating impact of climate change, this piece speaks to oceans rising, ice melting, and the commodification of nature itself.

What happens when the wild turns into something owned? When the climate is controlled not by seasons but by industry?
