I’ve been a bit quite recently and not done much embroidery due to my studies and getting ready to be Mrs Torres in a weeks time 😬. I loved getting this piece finished off and have a few new ones to get started on, I forgot how relaxing it is.

Happy 2022!
I’ve been pretty quiet lately on here but I as some may know I’m going through my PDGE in Home Economics. It’s exciting as I’m starting a new career though with that comes a lot of hard work which can be intense at times mixed in with a little imposter syndrome (we love that guy!) Though overall extremely rewarding with no regrets.

If your feeling stuck in your job though scared to take the leap (and rightly so), all I can say is if you’re in a position to do it, you won’t regret it! I was terrified to leave a job I knew but my tipping point was I couldn’t carry on being miserable. Life’s too short for that!
If leaving to start something new isn’t possible, which it is for so many including myself for a number of years, I always tried to do things outside of work that made going to my job worth it. Take time to do things for you ❤️ even if that’s making a tea and watching your favourite show. My point is don’t let your job consume you and make you unhappy, it’s a job to pay the bills.

I’m hoping to make more time for my embroidery 🧵 in between studying along with getting my baking skills on point 👌, I just need to remember to take pictures before I eat it 😅.

As we come to the end of 2020 in which we will be glad to see the back of. I wanted to take the time to say thanks for all your orders. Through these crazy worrying times they really have kept me going. Here’s hoping 2021 will have a more positive impact on the world 🌎
