Today our Creative Citizens were invited along to the Citizens Theatre for the launch of their new exhibition β€˜Inside-Outside.’

The exhibition was excellent, with unique artworks created by the Lilias Community Custodial Unit.

A big thank you to Ellie and the Citz team for inviting us along!

In Cahootz Barrhead smashed their sponsored litter picking walks today. 3 walks, litter pickers, gloves and bags at the ready!!! Between the Waterworks and Cowan park we collected 14 bags of rubbish in total. Massive well done to our wee team. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

One of our youngest participants age 7 said
"Why can't people just put their rubbish in the bin? Do they not know it's better for our environment?" πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

If a 7 year old gets it, I think we could all be doing more to look after the places where we live. 🌍

Thank you all so much for your kind donations. So far we have raised just under Β£1000!!!

Our JustGiving campaign is still live if anyone wants to donate to our project. πŸ’š

Thank you to Oonagh at the Waterworks for having us today. Thank you to our funders and community who continue to support us. Have the best summer break. β€οΈπŸŒ»β˜€οΈ

Last day of book group with Fredrick Backman's 'My Friends'.

We absolutely recommend this book. It has everything in it. From the beauty of friendship and how it connects to art to finding laughter amongst tragedy.

The writer takes you down a path and you don't know where he's taking you.

To Ted, Joar, Kim Kim, Ali , Fish and Louisa, we salute you, and we'll miss ye. Thanks for letting us into your story πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘β˜ΊοΈ

This morning, our walking group wandered to the Kinning Park Complex to see 'The Subtle Body' exhibition as part of Glasgow International 2026. 😊

This was a new destination for us, and we were pleasantly surprised. πŸ˜‰
