Today our Creative Citizens were invited along to the Citizens Theatre for the launch of their new exhibition ‘Inside-Outside.’

The exhibition was excellent, with unique artworks created by the Lilias Community Custodial Unit.

In Cahootz Barrhead smashed their sponsored litter picking walks today. 3 walks, litter pickers, gloves and bags at the ready!!! Between the Waterworks and Cowan park we collected 14 bags of rubbish in total. Massive well done to our wee team. 👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉

One of our youngest participants age 7 said
"Why can't people just put their rubbish in the bin? Do they not know it's better for our environment?" 🙌🙌🙌

If a 7 year old gets it, I think we could all be doing more to look after the places where we live. 🌍

Thank you all so much for your kind donations. So far we have raised just under £1000!!!

Our JustGiving campaign is still live if anyone wants to donate to our project. 💚

We absolutely recommend this book. It has everything in it. From the beauty of friendship and how it connects to art to finding laughter amongst tragedy.

The writer takes you down a path and you don't know where he's taking you.
