Journey Pictures is looking for a Trainee Director for a month long or 20 day development project – You will ideally be a researcher moving on to AP who can self-shoot, who knows their way round Avid Media Composer. It will include mentoring and shadowing, scripting, part second camera, part editing and hopefully a whole load of fun. It will start in the next couple of weeks. Possibility for flexible working from home.

We've just received some absolutely wonderful news - and now we need your help! Amazing stuff - the BBC have commissioned a pilot documentary based on the book with a view to it being aired on the new, BBC Scotland channel which begins broadcasting in February. We've spent the last 12 months with the brilliant David Street of Journey Pictures shooting interviews, including in Ibiza, and many of you have already graciously contributed. The documentary will, obviously, be nostalgia-tinged around the club scene of the eighties and nineties. Do any of you guys - male and female - have any of your fashions from those memorable eras still tucked in the back of your wardrobes and would you be happy to be interviewed about fashion and style from the time? DM if possible. Please give it consideration - and many, many thanks for your ongoing love and support! X

Our film is getting its USA premiere.

We are honoured to announce that BATTLE MOUNTAIN Graeme Obree’s Story has been selected to be part of the prestigious Bicycle Film Festival of New York 2017.

It will be shown on Sunday, June 25th, at 5.00 pm in the Anthology Film Archives, 32 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003.

I will be part of a Q&A after the screening. I appreciate that many of you will have seen it on the small screen by now but it really is best seen and heard in the cinema.

Great news, A Journey Pictures production will finally make its way on to the small screen. The full length feature film has been screened in over 60 cinemas across the UK. Today we received confirmation that an hour long version of our film 'BATTLE MOUNTAIN Graeme Obree's Story' is going to be shown at 9.00pm on Tuesday February 7th on BBC2 Scotland If you live in England,Wales or Northern Ireland we think you might be able to watch it on Sky Channel 970. Please can you share this post far and wide - the more people who watch it, the more likely it is to get this type of film shown on the BBC.
