Tonight at 8pm on Sky Arts or Sky Mix (depending on your subscription) turn those televisions sets and you may see me for a few seconds, trying to paint a scene in 4 hours that actually took about 20 hours to finish. I am a wildcard on tonight’s episode of Landscape Artist of the Year 2024 at the beautiful Stonehaven Harbour!

I took part in this series as a Wild Card contestant. Look out for me in the Stonehaven Harbour heat. Had a great time until I realised 4 hours just evaporates quicker than rain on my palette!

Here are the two paintings I’m showing at The Big Art Show in Paisley. The exhibition starts on 1 September at 10am-4pm. There are over 1700 artworks on display so come and have a look. These are both for sale, titled “Rainy Glen” and “The Heilanman’s Umbrella”
