Wild Swallow

Wild Swallow Art can be so many things. For some it has to be clever or making a statement. Beauty can be found in so many places and forms.

Part of my journey involved rejecting the simple beauty of art in the pursuit of meaning and purpose, but now I have come to realise that life without beauty is devoid of purpose. Survival isn’t really living, but when we thrive life flows and beauty is the natural result. Everyone has their own opinion of what beauty is. Perhaps I would describe it as something that sparks life inside of me. For

me this is found in colours, contrast of light and dark, textures and capturing that moment which can never be repeated quite the same again. Looking at a tiny detail, the smallest thing which most would pass by and celebrating the intricate beauty in that. So often for me the beauty that touches my heart is found in nature, the beauty that He has created for us to enjoy. Art is also a way of expressing myself and my heart’s journey. My heavenly Father gives me pictures and I want to express them on paper, to develop the conversation with Him through a visual means. Usually my paintings have a deep meaning for me personally, but others have experienced them in their own personal ways too. His life is breathed through many different forms and if something I draw or paint can in some way impart life that brings me joy.
