It pains us to say this, but next month will be the final Shakara club party. We’ve been going strong for 6 years, from our intimate nights at the (OG’s will remember just how great those wee intimate dances were) to , and finally to our home at . We owe it all to you, the community, and to the venues, staff, and everyone who supported us along the way. THANK YOU.
NOTHING. BUT. LOVE. to The Berkeley Suite for making us and everyone feel so welcome over the past few years. It’s been a true privilege to be part of the best club and family in Glasgow. 🙌

To make our last dance truly unforgettable, we’ve brought on an artist who embodies the very essence and spirit of Shakara. Someone who knows how to keep the energy up, shifting through gears while keeping the dance floor alive.
If you haven’t heard of !, you’ve been missing out. A true force of nature, her creativity knows no limits, and she’s earned the title of one of the most notorious party starters in the scene right now. Her debut EP on Erol Alkan’s renowned Phantasy Sound label, made waves last summer, earning high praise and becoming a festival favourite, with support from the likes of Shanti Celeste, Job Jobse, Palms Trax, and more.

While we are hanging up the regular party planning as priorities change and new projects emerge (follow if you haven’t already!), we’re not done for good. We hope to throw occasional parties in new, possibly outdoor 👀 spaces, finally collaborating with . Stay tuned, and in the meantime, we’ll still be DJing as Shakara—get in touch for bookings!
We’d love to see as many familiar faces as possible for our final event on 15th November. It’s going to be a bittersweet night, and sharing it with you all would mean the world to us. Let’s make this last dance one to remember. 🥲
