Limelight Music is a Scottish equalities professional music training and production company, specialising in high quality training and developmental opportunities for people with impairments.
Delivering inclusive projects for over 30 years, Limelight Music has a workforce which consists of Scotland’s first generation of professional musicians with impairments.
We are the largest employer of disabled musicians in Scotland.
From our base in Glasgow we collaborate with local authorities, schools, musicians, music producers and mainstream theatre companies to create new projects in education and in the entertainment industries. We provide music training sessions for over 1200 school pupils and 30 disabled adults throughout each year. Over half of our 16 strong workshop tutors and leaders are highly skilled and talented disabled musicians.
