Sublime Sound releases music on labels such as the deeply influential Nervous Records and Glasgow's finest Remmah, as well as projects such as Anhad + Tanner on Anjunadeep.

Anhad is also a lecturer in music and is keen to get a discussion going on what it means to be an artist in the current electronic music landscape.

**This Friday 13th March!**

We're looking forward to our next Masterclass which is focussing on innovative ways to use Ableton Live for production and real-time live performance.

Stuart Brown is one of Scotland’s top jazz, session and touring drummers who specialises in using Ableton Live in live performance situations. His solo project, MNDMTH, combines hybrid electro-acoustic drumming with real time triggered and audio-reactive visuals to creative live multimedia performances.

This masterclass will focus on ways of using Ableton Live in real time live performance. Stuart breaks away from the standard Ableton approach, performing with no pre-recorded tracks, clips or loops, using his hybrid drum kit as a multi-timbral audio-visual performance tool.

Calling all producers! Need some musical inspiration, new studio techniques or just want to join a community of like-minded people and refine your sound? Now's the time.

Next week we’re starting a new run of our Ableton Live: Artist Course, beginning Tuesday 16 September. Lock in for 10 weeks with us here at the studio and work on developing yourself as an artist who has something to say to the world.

This evening programme is designed for producers who are ready to move beyond the basics and develop their own distinctive sound.

You'll work on studio workflow, wavetable synthesis, mixing down, working with hardware and software together as one and so much more. Our Artist course students have gone on to release on their favourite labels, tour, run record labels and radio shows and much more.

Plus tutor Simon Stokes is currently working on his third studio album so has loads of fresh insights into the process.
