The complete range of Cecchetti syllaby is offered from Primary to Advanced and Diploma with additional unset classes. At the last class before Christmas break, the classes are opened to parents to observe progress. In early March there is an exam session of five days and in June there is a theatrical performance, while pre-school children have their own event. All classes have live piano accompa
niment. Students have performed at: the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Burrell Collection, Queen’s Cross Church, Scottish Ballet’s Robin Anderson Theatre, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and the Tramway at the invitation of Peace Arts, the Hunterian Gallery as part of the Whistler Exhibition, and the Mackintosh Festival. Pupils are regularly accepted for the Junior Associate Scheme of Scottish Ballet, also to the Dance School of Scotland, Knightswood. Former pupils have subsequently trained at the Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School and Central Ballet School. Currently former pupils are dancing with Birmingham Royal Ballet and Independent Ballet Wales.
