Due to the devastating fire in Union St and the ongoing work to assess the damage, voco Grand Central Hotel is closed until further notice.

Unfortunately, this means we are currently unable to host The Wonder Room and need to cancel upcoming shows on the dates below.

13th March / 20th March / 27th March

Full refunds will be issued via Eventbrite and attendees will be notified by email once this has been processed.

Thanks again for all the support and hopefully we'll be able to welcome guests back at the show very soon.

As you may have seen, GoFundMe pages have been set up for businesses directly impacted by the fire, all of whom no longer have premises and have lost everything.

CHARITY AUCTION

I’m auctioning off a private show at The Wonder Room to raise funds for Kyleen’s friend who is bravely battling cancer.

Her family are raising money for treatment to prolong her life and give her as much time as possible with her three young girls.

- the auction is blind, meaning people can’t see what the highest bid is.

Two Years Of Wonder

Today marks two years since The Wonder Room opened at voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.

Genuinely never thought it would, or could, run for this long as I know how difficult it is to establish a regular show anywhere, never mind in Glasgow.

In that time we’ve sold out every show and become the number one rated show on Tripadvisor’s Theatre & Concerts section and won their Traveller’ Choice Award for 2025.

My sincere thanks go to everyone that has bought a ticket, left a review, shared our posts on social media and spread the word to family and friends. It really does mean the world to me.

The show is self produced and is literally a one man operation: I wrote and directed the show and perform it every week. I built the website and designed all the branding and marketing materials, I designed the set and lighting in the room and even composed some of the music in the show.

Big shout out also needs to go to Shona, Marcello, Katie, Kevin, Michael and Wendy at voco Grand Central Hotel for looking after us and giving this show a platform in one of the city’s most iconic landmarks

It’s been incredible fun hosting audiences from all over the world every week and finding new ways to connect and immerse people in an art form I love so much.

And despite this, it feels like we’re only just getting started!
