It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, so I thought it was about time to start sharing some of the amazing work coming out of our sessions again.

These sketches are from last night at McNeills — such a lovely mix of familiar faces and new ones, with some brilliant drawings all round.

If you’ve not been in a while, we’re running sessions every Tuesday at CASS Art and every Wednesday evening in the Southside, usually at McNeills. Now that the sun’s out, there’s a bit more room for new folks to join!

You can sign up for upcoming sessions through our website.

We've noticed an increase in attendance on Wednesdays, and often there aren’t enough tickets to go around. To give everyone a better chance to attend, we’re introducing a second evening life drawing session on Tuesdays as a trial.

This session will focus on longer-held poses, and we expect there to be plenty of space for those wanting to bring paints and additional equipment.

Our regular class schedule is as follows:

Monday – Online Portrait Club | 18:30–20:30

Tuesday – Life Drawing at McNeill’s | 18:30–20:30

Wednesday – Life Drawing at McNeill’s | 18:30–20:30

Hope to see you there!

Model Training Workshop at CASS ART
January 5th 1-4pm

We're thrilled to invite you to our Model Training Workshop, which was crafted to introduce aspiring and early-career life models to the vibrant arts community here in Glasgow.

From igniting creativity in traditional classes to embracing the digital realm, our sessions offer a comprehensive overview of the modelling experience. Our goal is to equip each attendee with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the diverse landscape of artistic expression.

During the three-hour workshop, we'll delve into various aspects of posing, explore intentionality, and foster collaborative learning among participants. The first two hours will focus on clothed exercises, providing a comfortable environment for skill development. The optional second part allows models to gain experience in n**e posing, although participation is voluntary.

We aim to provide opportunities for those eager to pursue paid work when we believe a model is prepared. We prioritise ensuring attendees feel confident and supported in their journey toward live modelling engagements.

For more information please visit our website via link in Bio.

Pricing Info: Standard tickets are priced at £15, with a discounted rate of £10 for students and the unemployed.
