🔥 Join The Flames in Stirling! 🔥 Sessions start next week!

Tricky Hat Productions and Macrobert Arts Centre are welcoming people to join their performance company The Flames, to create a show that challenges pre-conceived ideas of how older people think and what they aspire to. The Flames is a free creative opportunity for people aged 50+ to take part in a series of fun, artistic, and social workshops.

You don’t need to have any experience of theatre. The Flames is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves, try something new, or just be part of a creative group of like-minded people!

Sessions will run from Wed 9 Sep - Sat 03 Oct. If you are interested in finding out more about the project or registering an interest in the information session then please get in touch with [email protected].

Tricky Hat Productions is a multi media company which specialises in creating and delivering theatre based projects with hard to reach and vulnerable people across Scotland.

We have particular expertise in working with older people, people with mental health problems and forensic psychiatry patients.

Professional theatre practitioners work in a variety of settings to produce exciting and valid new pieces of theatre through performance, drama workshops and new writing.

The focus of our work is to release the power of the imagination in safe and creative environments where people can flourish and develop. We have a performance rather than therapy based approach.

We aim to challenge preconceived ideas and assumptions both for our audiences and participants. Audiences access voices and stories that are seldom seen or heard while participants are enriched by what they can find within themselves.
