GoMA Youth Group are excited to invite you to a Found Poetry workshop for Neurodiverse adults (18+)!
📅 Sunday 28th June, 2-4pm
🎟️ Free but ticketed, follow this link to the Glasgow Museums Eventbrite page to book: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/glasgow-museums-51854195173
This is a workshop for neurodiverse adults to explore their creativity through found poetry. We will use materials like newspapers & magazines to cut out words or passages and generate new meanings.
Found poetry opens up new possibilities to re-imagine a text and uncover different ways of interpreting what's already been established on the page. All materials will be provided, no experience necessary!
The Studio at GoMA is situated on the top floor of the building and is accessible via lift and stairs. There is a quiet space nearby and accessible toilets on the same level. Drinks and snacks will be provided during the session. We hope to see you there :)
