CALLING LESBIAN/QUEER ACTORS IN SCOTLAND!!

Casting call for short film project with le***an and sci-fi themes being produced as a commission for LGBT History Month Scotland. Shooting in Glasgow in February, dates tbc. Travel expenses and food plus £50 per day fee. Copy of final film provided. The film will be entered to film festivals worldwide. Actors with some knowledge/experience of LGBTQ issues preferred. Disabled, trans, POC (BAME) actors all very welcome - inclusive, LGBTQ-led project.

Joey is entering the perilous world of le***an dating. Luckily she comes armed with special powers…

JOEY - female, early- to mid-20s, bored of her job and looking for something new in her love- and night-lives. Joey is plain and innocent-seeming but with a dark streak.

SONIA - female, early- to mid-30s, a cool-looking woman with chiselled cheekbones and short dark hair. Sonia is a party animal with no roots and little concern for moral conventions.

ELLEN - female, mid- to late-20s, short dark hair, boyish and geeky-looking. Ellen is shy and awkward in interactions but friendly and more down-to-earth than the people surrounding her.

NICOLE - female, mid- to late-20s, trendy with peroxide blonde hair. Nicole is nonchalant and confident. Non-speaking role.

MALE COLLEAGUE - male, mid- to late-20s, short dark hair, cocky and arrogant but with a fragile underside. Non-speaking role.

"Greetings! I'm working on a research project about the barriers faced by young disabled and D/deaf people in accessing arts provision in Scotland. We're seeking self-identified disabled and/or D/deaf people aged 10-25 who are interested in or involved in the arts and who are based in Scotland. CALL OUT TO THE QU**RS! Asten Holmes-Elliott is looking for volunteers who identify either as non-binanry, androgynous or trans*, or those who identify as skoliosexual, who are comfortable with being photographed and possibly be the subject of future painted portraits. Asten is a q***r artist and will be painting live at The Arches this weekend 16th&17th May during the Sexology Season as part of their exhibition SKOLIOSEXUAL. If you're up for being photographed, or even just interested in what's going down, come to The Arches foyer and look for the person covered in paint. Even if you don't identify as that long list of things, but would like to be photographed, come on down, it's open to all. Thanks!

"GLASS (Gay & Le***an Alcohol Study Scotland). We are looking for people aged 18 upwards who identify as gay or le***an to come along with 3-5 of their friends that they socialise with who identify as LGBT to take part in a group discussion about drinking. Topics covered would be where they like to drink and why, where you would access information on drinking and some stuff on social media and marketing. Group discussion would take no more than 90 mins and everyone who takes part gets a £15 Amazon/High st. gift voucher each. It's all anonymous and confidential and there's no personal questions. It would take place at my office in the city centre (Glasgow Caledonian University) at a time that suited everyone.
