Inner City Acid decided to bow out of Glasgow's club scene in May 2009 having spent the best part of 4 and a half years shaking the city up a bit with their refreshing, enthusiastic, no bu****it approach to simply booking some of the DJ's and producers they admired and humbly creating a buzz and a following that breathed new life into a city already steeped in underground electronic music traditio
n. Guests such as Chicago Acid House pioneer DJ Pierre, Laurent Garnier's Techno protege's The Youngsters and Neo-Acid genius Luke Vibert (as well as a whole host of other world-renowned names alongside some of Glasgow's sublimely talented local artists & DJ's) have been welcomed, rocked it and left with a mutual respect, knowing they'd been at a proper party where the promoters were more interested in everyone having serious fun than they were about making money...which turned out to be just as well :)
