Big massive thanks to everyone who made last night happen. After 18 months of innactivity we got an email from SLAY to see if we wanted a date in January. What a decision, what if the show went well? Would that be a reminder of all the good times and how Glasgow doesn't have any venues suitable for us. Or worse, what if it went bad and we went out with our tail between our legs? It was a big gamble. But we're happy we did and thanks to everyone not only for last night but for the last 14.5 years.
Happy story
One of the guests had a first date at Enterteasement. They are moving to Stornoway next week and wanted a last night out in Glasgow and we popped up with a bonus show.
To the acts, Billy Kirkwood, Gary Faulds, Alan Richie, Fanciforia Foxglove and Tootsie Annie - thanks for being great. You guys aren't just excellent acts, you're friends.
To my team, Thanks for coming back for one last dance. I was glad you guys were able to work your magic once again.
and to The audience, without you guys, there would be no Enterteasement. Too many names to mention so I'm not even gonna try here. But thanks again.
And finally to my mum who upgraded the raffle from a Toblerone and a half bottle of wine to what it is now.
For now, the Enterteasement door is closed. It's not locked.
We still have the small show on Sunday, March 29th. Would be nice to see you guys there....or even 40% of you there lol. After that we'll go back into hibernation.
