Thanks to everyone for your contributions and support last week for the show.
I am pleased to report that we reached our target of £800. I have just posted the cheque off to Pancreatic Cancer UK this morning.
It was a fantastic week and the feedback has been outstanding. However, being able to make this donation makes it doubly rewarding.
Once again, thanks to all for your contributions - you know who you are!
Well done.

Comments from Ross McAree who was there on Saturday night

"Well done everyone who was in walking shadows! What a show.
Was crying with laughter at one point! Totally impressed and was written so well!!"

From Pauline Hatfield who was there on Thursday night.

Congratulations to Michael Lewis and everyone involved in Walking Shadows! Very clever and so funny. You're a talented bunch. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, and is looking for a really fun night out, I'd highly recommend it. ###

Comments from Eileen McCallum who was there on Saturday;

"Huge congratulations to the cast of Walking Shadows, I laughed 'til I cried, coughed like seal, and wheezed nearly as bad as Cat. What talent, the first 2 acts are brilliantly funny, but Act 3 is hysterical and you've got no idea where to look. Michael, you're a genius. And of course hats off to Cameron, Mark, and Victoria for the music, Cameron again for the sound and lights and all the stage crew with a special mention for Murrin. Edinburgh Festival?"

Comments from Jo Riding who came along on Wednesday night.

"the publicity was right, your play is clever and it is funny !

I’m full of admiration for the writing and the energy of the production, lots and lots of laugh out loud moments, as well as many surprises. I enjoyed the physical humour along side the verbal wit. Right from the start I was engaged with what was happening and the underlying observations, like laughing on two levels, often in the same moment.

Many congratulations to you, and to the marvellous cast – I hope all the performances go as well and get an appreciative audience.

I was interested to be inside The Webster’s Theatre, I agree it has a lovely feel to it and such potential.

Please keep me on your list of contacts for the next Michael Lewis play – I shall be there, with daughter who was disappointed not to be able to come.

So my final applause is coming via this message –
Thank you to everyone for a good evening’s entertainment"
Jo
