Artwork of the Day

Highland Threshold
This piece emerged during a study in limited palette work, using only magenta, blue, yellow and Payne's Grey to explore warm and cool contrasts. As the layers built, the stag began to feel less like a symbol and more like a quiet presence - something appearing between mist and light, supported by the land. I was drawn to letting edges soften and dissolve into the landscape, allowing the stag to feel both grounded and ethereal at once.
