Senior Fundraising Manager Pauline had the absolute pleasure of meeting Greg Fletcher and his lovely friends on Thursday evening!

Greg who was diagnosed with prostate and bone cancer in February has been supported by Macmillan and felt that he wanted to give something back to the charity.

Greg’s friend June who is a Retired Senior Charge Nurse in Oncology Outpatients said “Greg is a really special person to a lot of people, he does a lot for people so it’s no surprise that everyone wanted to get behind this event”

Another of Greg’s friends Jeanette said “everyone was so generous, we had so many prizes and no one went home empty handed”

Greg had hoped to raise £1000 at his Race Night but was thrilled to count up an incredible £3,566.19 he would like to thank everyone who supported the event particularly his team of helpers.
