Due to that one person who complained a couple of years ago that they couldn't find the entrance to the festival and we should have had signs up we have provided this handy guide in case this happens again:

🚗 There is a large car park situated in front of the main entrance.

↗ A fairly big staircase leads up to several doors from the car park.

👫 You might see one or two other people outside on the stairs waiting to come in.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The huge Scotland sign above the doors show that you are at the correct spot.

🗣 If in doubt ask someone in the area where you can find the enormous entrance to the football stadium.

We have provided a couple of images here for reference.

Rumours that we are going to hover a blimp above the front doors with a flashing neon arrow sign hanging off it pointing at the entrance are completely unfounded. Maybe.

Please let us know if we can be of any further help. Thank you!

🥃 Today we're raising a glass to our wonderful Festival Team without whom we honestly couldn't run this event. They are the threads that hold it all together. Always smiling and helpful, we couldn't ask any more of them. They make sure our wonderful exhibitors are well looked after and also that all of our visitors on the day have the best experience possible.

🙏 If you're ever in need of any assistance at all when you're with us at the festival don't hesitate to find one of those orange shirts (can't miss 'em!)

🚨 Furthermore if you ever see or experience something untoward please speak to one of our team or any member of the security in the venue. We take everyone's safety very seriously and can only help if we are made aware of any incident at the time.

Here's to these amazing guys and gals.

Have a great weekend. Cheers!

There are just four months to go until we're back at Hampden Park (still can't say the B*rcl*ys bit yet) for the 17th Glasgow’s Whisky Festival and it's shaping up to be another superb day.

As Scotland's biggest and best single day whisky event we're obviously always overflowing with superb spirits but we're also championing quality Scottish foods that we ourselves readily consume.

On that note we are delighted to be welcoming back a couple of our foodie favourites for 2026:

Chocolate Tree - simply one of the best chocolate producers in the country with a wide range of flavours and also single origin bars. Pair one of their dark chocolate bars with a rich and fruity sherry cask malt.

Hawkhead Whisky Smoked - premium salts and nuts smoked over whisky barrel wood. Try the black garlic whisky smoked salt on...well...everything!

More exhibitor announcements coming soon...

Sad news today that we lost another whisky pal. If anyone has been to Artisan Wishaw you will know how wonderful Derek was and how incredible the whisky collection was. Condolences to the family 💔🥃

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Derek Mather, affectionately known as "Chef".
Derek was rushed to the hospital yesterday morning after becoming seriously unwell. Despite the best efforts of the staff and nurses at Wishaw General Hospital, Derek, sadly, passed away.

Derek was a Husband to Fiona, Son to Marion & William, Brother to Nicola and an Uncle. He was loved by so many from near and far, and expressed love to his family and friends.

Derek's legacy will live on within all of us who knew him, and will keep his name and memory alive, may that be in sharing memories, a dram, or stories of his antics.

He was a man that always put family first, and always had a whisky order processing.

The family would like to ask for privacy during this very difficult time while we navigate this massive tragic loss together.

Funeral arrangements to follow.

Thank you

The Artisan Team and Family.
